Job Description

As a Game Design Intern, you will add content to already existing games, creating and improving game features as well. You will be part of a game development team and work together with the game designers of different projects. You will also be exposed to the daily production and process of a free-to-play mobile title. 

This is an entry level position. While here with us, you’ll have full support from the entire design team on the following: 

  • Work as part of the Design team to design and redesign new and existing features of the game 
  • Design the assigned content in line with the project’s vision and quality standards  
  • Quickly iterate designs to continuously improve the game’s quality 
  • Working closely with the team to ensure that the design specifications will meet the quality expectations of your project 
  • Focusing on the player experience as the ultimate metric for the quality of any feature and content 

Qualifications

  • Any workshop or school project representative of industry experience is appreciated 
  • Understanding of psychological mechanisms that keep players engaged 
  • A strong sense of what makes gameplay experience compelling and fun 
  • Solid theoretical and practical Game Design knowledge 
  • Intense creativity, a passion for innovation, and the drive to go beyond what is directly asked of you 
  • Self-motivated and fast-learning 
  • Good communication skills 
  • Be a team player 
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Studying or completed Bachelors Degree 
  • Located in Abu Dhabi
