Job Description

The Global Finance Helpdesk in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a non-exempt (hourly) employee to manage the finance helpdesk and address incoming inquiries during set hours. Responsibilities include addressing global finance inquiries, working with cross-functional and global finance departments, staying updated on internal finance policies, being proficient in global and in-country financial policies and systems, collecting and analyzing past consults to improve efficiency, identifying financial risks, and reporting urgent problems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, adaptability to shift work (including night shifts), good communication and logical thinking skills, and proficiency in English and Mandarin. Preferred qualifications include a business-oriented mindset, independent work ethic, teamwork skills, and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

About the Team: The Global Finance Helpdesk team is a sprightly team under the finance department. We are committed to providing financial consulting services for employees around the world. This position will be non-exempt (hourly) and eligible for overtime. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the finance helpdesk and address incoming inquires during set hours. Responsibilities: - Address global finance inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, and provide professional financial suggestions. - Work closely with cross-functional and global finance departments, and stay up-to-date on internal finance policies and practices; English and Mandarin will play the same important level as stakeholders and users are Mandarin instructured. - Be proficient in the company's global and in-country financial policies, process and system, as well as other financial-related matters. - Collect and analyze past consults to improve the team's overall efficiency and satisfaction rating. - Identify financial risks and report urgent problems in a timely manner, and proactively make recommendations for the improvement to business management from a finance point of view.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with at least 1 to 2 years of work experience in accounting or financial services sector. - Can adapt to shift work and accept night to morning scheduling requirements (e.g.: 23:00-07:00). - Good logical thinking and communication skills, ability to navigate complex financial topics and translate results into recommendations. Preferred Qualifications: - Business oriented with a client-service mindset. - Can work and think independently under pressure, and can also be a good team player. Self-motivated, responsible, open-minded. #LI-Hybrid
