Job Description

Oh BiBi, an independent mobile game studio founded in 2012, seeks a seasoned Head of Data to define and drive the company's data strategy. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on analytical expertise, a product mindset, and strong leadership skills, with experience building data teams and systems that have scaled global F2P titles. This role involves transforming player data into actionable insights to impact retention, monetization, and game design, enabling better and faster decision-making. The Head of Data will be part of the leadership team, influencing game development and company operations. Responsibilities include defining and implementing the end-to-end data strategy, building and leading a data team, designing scalable data infrastructure, partnering with various departments, providing real-time visibility on player behavior, and championing data best practices to optimize key metrics and guide strategic decisions.

As we enter a new phase of acceleration, Oh BiBi is looking for a seasoned Head of Data to define and drive our data strategy across all live and upcoming games.

The Role

The ideal profile blends hands-on analytical expertise with a product mindset and strong leadership skills.

You’ve already built data teams or systems that helped scale global F2P titles. You know how to transform raw player data into actionable insights that impact retention, monetization, and game design. You’re not just running queries — you’re enabling better decisions, faster.

As part of the leadership team, you’ll help shape not only the way we build games but also the way we operate as a company.

What You’ll Own

Define and implement our end-to-end data strategy across multiple gamesBuild and lead a cross-functional data team (analytics, engineering, science)
Design and maintain data infrastructure, pipelines, and tools that scale
Partner with game designers, PMs, and marketers to identify key metrics, set targets, and track performance
Provide real-time visibility on player behavior, monetization, and live ops impact
Champion event-based tracking and best practices in instrumentationEstablish a strong data culture: from A/B testing frameworks to forecasting models
Leverage insights to optimize acquisition, onboarding, economy, retention, and LTV
Maintain close alignment with product and executive teams to guide strategic decisions

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or data engineering, with leadership experience in mobile F2P or consumer apps
Strong command of SQL, BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau), and data infrastructure
Deep understanding of F2P metrics: retention, monetization, churn, LTV, etc.
Experience collaborating with product, marketing, and live ops teams
Automation mindset: you build systems that scale and improve over time
Analytical, focused, and comfortable navigating both detail and strategy
Passion for games and curiosity for player behavior
Fluent in English; French is a plus
