Saxo Bank has built a strong portfolio of clients in Iberia, who rely on our comprehensive trading and investment solutions. To further accelerate our growth, we're on the lookout for an experienced Institutional Relationship Manager to join our team. This exciting role is centered around building and nurturing relationships with decision-makers at financial institutions in Spain and Portugal, as well as contributing to new origination. You will be leveraging your experience in business development, GTM planning, and sales to work closely with our partners, helping them drive their business growth.
Must have:
  • Manage and grow the Spanish and Portuguese business portfolio which primarily consists of banks and brokers who are leveraging Saxo’s market leading client platforms, APIs, market access etc.
  • Drive the commercial agenda in close collaboration with our clients and their key stakeholders
  • Develop account plans which take our clients’ strategy and ambitions into account as well as opportunities for cross-and upselling and optimization of our clients’ own sales funnel and Go-To-Market practices
  • Be the anchor point for pricing, contracts, and act as escalation point for the full client engagement, new features etc in conjunction with Saxo’s Account Service and Product teams
  • Identify, develop, and build profitable relationships, while also being aware of competitive products, practices, rates and changes in markets conditions.

Saxo Bank has built a strong portfolio of clients in Iberia, who rely on our comprehensive trading and investment solutions. To further accelerate our growth, we're on the lookout for an experienced Institutional Relationship Manager to join our team.

This exciting role is centered around building and nurturing relationships with decision-makers at financial institutions in Spain and Portugal, as well as contributing to new origination. You will be leveraging your experience in business development, GTM planning, and sales to work closely with our partners, helping them drive their business growth.

This role is based in our beautiful headquarters in Hellerup, Copenhagen.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the commercial agenda in close collaboration with our clients and their key stakeholders

Your profile

We are looking for a passionate, results-driven, and entrepreneurial individual who has demonstrated abilities in creating trust and building lasting relationships, including with C-level counterparts. You should be someone who takes ownership and works in a structured manner to create and deliver on pipelines, projects, and cross-sell opportunities with clients.

Moreover, we are looking for the following qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of capital markets and key asset classes, preferably from a relationship management, sales or business development background.
  • Experience with Go-To-Market planning for B2B-2C
  • Relevant network in the region (mainly in banks) is a big plus for this specific role.
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
