Job Description

As an Instructional Designer on the Sales Enablement team at Reveal, your role will focus on creating engaging, impactful learning experiences that help our global sales team ramp quickly, sell more effectively, and stay aligned with our evolving product and strategy. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts, enablement leaders, and the broader sales team to develop a wide range of training materials — from e-learning modules to job aids — using instructional design best practices. This includes designing and developing content for sales onboarding, product knowledge, skills training, and role-specific enablement, creating e-learning modules, video scripts, quick reference guides, and sales playbooks using authoring tools. You will also structure content using adult learning principles, collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams, and develop a scalable content library.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design
  • Solid understanding of adult learning theory
  • Proficient in Adobe, Powerpoint, Microsoft Word
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
Good to have:
  • Experience creating content for sales teams
  • Experience designing training for SaaS products
  • Understanding of the sales lifecycle

Position: Instructional Designer – Sales Enablement

Reports To: Sales Enablement Manager

Location: US

Job Overview

As an Instructional Designer on the Sales Enablement team at Reveal, your role will focus on creating engaging, impactful learning experiences that help our global sales team ramp quickly, sell more effectively, and stay aligned with our evolving product and strategy. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts, enablement leaders, and the broader sales team to develop a wide range of training materials — from e-learning modules to job aids — using instructional design best practices.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and develop learning content for sales onboarding, product knowledge, skills training, and role-specific enablement
  • Create e-learning modules, video scripts, quick reference guides, and sales playbooks using authoring tools (Articulate Rise, Storyline, Canva, etc.)
  • Structure content using adult learning principles and proven instructional models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s)
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather information and ensure training aligns with business goals
  • Develop and maintain a scalable content library that supports just-in-time learning and role-based progression
  • Assist in managing the LMS (Letter AI) by uploading and organizing content, assigning modules, and tracking completion
  • Support the implementation of live training sessions by preparing visuals, handouts, and facilitator guides
  • Continuously evaluate the impact of training through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics
  • Update and iterate content regularly to reflect product changes, sales processes, and learner feedback
  • Contribute to a culture of learning and development by bringing creative ideas to training delivery

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design, learning development, or content creation
  • Solid understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies
  • Proficient in tools such as Adobe, Powerpoint, Microsoft Word
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines independently
  • Experience creating content for sales or customer-facing teams is a plus

 

Preferred Experience

  • Experience designing training for SaaS products or technical tools
  • Understanding of the sales lifecycle and common B2B challenges
