Job Description

The IT Data Specialist is responsible for optimizing data pipelines for efficient, reliable, and scalable data flow. This role supports data engineers in integrating new data sources, facilitating seamless data ingestion and transformation. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting complex data-related issues to maintain data integrity, designing data flows using ADF, implementing ETL logics with Databricks notebooks, and developing data models based on business requirements. The specialist will also work with CI-CD pipelines and T-SQL.
Good To Have:
  • Knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge in data usage, scheduling, data refresh and diagnostics.
  • Experience in tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio.
  • Worked in an agile (scrum) environment with globally distributed teams.
  • Analytical bent of mind, business acumen, and articulation skills.
  • Ability to manage interaction with business stakeholders.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Proven experience in interfacing with different source systems and data modelling.
  • Preferred Skills: Azure ADF/Databricks, PySpark / T-SQL, Data Governance, Data Harmonization & Processing.
Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistical Techniques, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics.

The role excels in troubleshooting complex data-related issues, ensuring swift resolution to maintain data integrity.

Your role:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft ADF pipelines, databricks notebooks, Pyspark.
  • Adept in design and development of data flows using ADF.
  • Expertise in implementing complex ETL logics through data bricks notebooks
  • Experience in implementing CI-CD pipelines through azure devops
  • Experience in writing complex T- SQLs
  • Understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly
  • Have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.

You're the right fit if:

Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistical Techniques, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent.

1- 2 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics

Preferred Skills: Azure ADF/Databricks, PySpark / T-SQL , Data Governance, Data Harmonization & Processing

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
