Summary

Onward Search is seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst for a 6-month contract (with potential extension and conversion to permanent) at a Fortune 500 Fintech client in San Francisco, CA. The role is fully remote. Responsibilities include providing configuration and troubleshooting support for all systems; handling problem resolution, escalation, and follow-up for complex user issues; performing hardware upgrades, disposal, and inventory; managing remote imaging, new hire setup, termination, and relocation; conducting server and desktop updates; troubleshooting network, printing, email, and connectivity issues; maintaining basic network hardware and Wi-Fi; managing project deliverables; and building positive relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a technical degree or related experience, along with proven experience in a service desk or IT customer service role. Strong technical support skills are required.

We’re looking to hire a IT Service Desk Analyst for a Fortune 500 Fintech client.  Teams are very collaborative and have a passion for creating cutting edge customer experiences. Onward Search provides benefits / weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.

Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Technology team to respond to and monitor incidents and service requests within the ticketing system. Maintain accurate ticket status and provide timely follow-up to end-users. This is a 6 – month contract + extension and possible convert to perm. The team is located in San Francisco, CA, and the role is fully remote.
 
IT Service Desk Analyst Responsibilities: 

  • Provide configuration and troubleshooting support for all systems.
  • Handle problem resolution, escalation, and follow-up for complex user issues.
  • Perform hardware upgrades, disposal, and inventory.
  • Manage remote imaging, new hire setup, termination, and relocation.
  • Conduct server and desktop updates to ensure security.
  • Troubleshoot network, printing, email, and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain basic network hardware and Wi-Fi.
  • Manage project deliverables, prioritize tasks, and track progress.
  • Build positive relationships through effective communication and timely resolution of issues.

IT Service Desk Analyst Requirements: 

  • You should have a technical degree or related work experience.
  • Experience in a service desk or IT customer service role.
  • Technical support skills are a must.
  • Other skills: Chrome, Mac OS,  malware, documentation, closing tickets, maintenance
  • Additionally, basic knowledge of network hardware maintenance (wired and Wi-Fi) is required.

  • *To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
