IT / Technical Contracts Negotiator

We’re looking to hire a IT / Technical Contracts Negotiator for a Fortune 500 Financial services client. Teams are very collaborative and have a passion for creating cutting edge customer experiences. 

My direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Contracts team to use your strong background in contract negotiation. Ideal candidates will have successfully closed contracts valued at $1M or more, with a focus on technical agreements.  This is a 60-12 – months contract + extension. The team is located in California, and the role is fully remote.

IT / Technical Contracts Negotiator Responsibilities: 

• Partner with internal stakeholders to define negotiation objectives and develop effective strategies.
• Lead complex negotiations for high-value Infrastructure, Cloud, and Networking contracts.
• Collaborate with Legal, Insurance, and Risk to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.
• Develop and manage RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to procure optimal solutions.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and provide strategic recommendations.
• Ensure contract terms align with business objectives and mitigate potential risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to optimize value and performance.
• Conduct vendor performance reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.

 IT / Technical Contracts Negotiator Requirements: 

• 5+ years of advanced contract negotiation and sourcing experience
• Proven track record in complex contract development and management
• Strong understanding of IT and professional services procurement
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
