The Java Architect will design, develop, and implement Java-based solutions, ensuring quality, reliability, and performance. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stay updated on Java technologies, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers. The role involves writing maintainable code, participating in meetings, testing solutions, addressing bugs, and continuously improving the solution based on feedback. Responsibilities include designing and developing Java-based solutions, ensuring their quality and performance, and collaborating with teams to resolve issues.

  • Experience with Spring framework and Hibernate
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL
  • Understanding of software architecture patterns
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Java-based solutions for clients
  • Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Mentor junior developers and guide them in their technical growth

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Java and the Java EE platform
  • Hands-on experience with Spring framework, Hibernate, and Web Services (REST/SOAP)
  • Familiarity with databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.) and SQL
  • Understanding of software architecture patterns and design patterns
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

Experience:

  • 12+ years of experience in Java-based solution development
  • Track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience with Java and the Java EE platform
  • Experience with integrating with back-end systems using REST APIs

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings
  • Test solutions on various platforms to ensure compatibility
  • Address and fix bugs and performance issues in a timely manner
  • Continuously improve the solution based on feedback from stakeholders

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in Java technologies (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 11 Developer) are a plus

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • Passion for technology and staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
