We are looking for a creative content writer with bilingual proficiency in English and French to craft engaging content across various digital channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in storytelling, social media, and content marketing, with a passion for delivering compelling messages that resonate globally.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Montreal is CAD $60k – CAD $65k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Ensure content is produced in alignment with corporate business strategy.
- Ensure consistency with corporate tone of voice.
- Compose content for thought leadership pieces, video scripts, social media, editorial and website.
- Compose text and graphic content for social channels and infographics.
- Work with internal communications and pr teams to produce content when needed.
- Help update and maintain website content.
- Assist with development and execution of content marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to visual content creation, including basic graphic design for digital assets and social media posts when needed.
Requirements:
- Equipped with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Must be bilingual and proficient in both English and French.
- Experience in FinTech/AI is desirable.
- An exceptional writer with excellent proofreading and editing skills.
- Proficient in writing native, platform-specific social media copy that aligns with how users communicate on Instagram, LinkedIn, and similar channels.
- A basic understanding of SEO best practices is a plus.
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
- Experience with AI tools for content creation (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot) are a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to deliver and maintain content production, delivery, and distribution plans while managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday and Jira to support clear and efficient project communication.
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across different time zones.
- Ideally, holding a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related study.
- A self-motivated team player who is committed to delivering on time and able to work without supervision.
