Job Description

INX International, a globally recognized ink producer, is seeking a full-time Lab Tech for one of its facilities. This role involves performing standard and non-standard testing of digital inks and raw materials, working with the Operations Technical Coordinator on customer complaint investigations, SLED extensions, and second source program testing. The position requires maintaining accurate records, operating lab equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment, contributing to a safe and sustainable future.
Must have:
  • Perform established assessment tests/evaluations of products in QC when assistance is needed.
  • Establish and maintain accurate and complete records for all color match formulas, hard files, and computer files.
  • Maintain the work area, which includes cleaning and upkeep of equipment and instruments, waste disposal and keeping everything in safe working order.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to the urgencies of production situations.
  • Operate, clean, and understand principles and practical functions of lab equipment and instruments.
  • Keep current on changing requirements in test methods, evaluations, specifications and other special situations.
  • Complete assigned online safety training and work in a safe manner.
  • Order and maintain inventory of assigned lab supplies.
  • Work cooperatively with other groups in the technical department and with other departments.
  • Take on added responsibilities as needs arise.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Have good and effective written, reading comprehension and verbal communication skills.
  • Have excellent basic math and computer skills.
  • Work on multiple projects at any time.
  • Interpret data and draw effective conclusions.
Good to have:
  • Color matching experience.
  • Proficiency with a spectrophotometer and densitometer.
  • Press room experience.
  • Experience with solvent-based inks.

Job Description

This role offers a range of $25 to $30 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

We are seeking a laboratory technician to be based at one of our INX facilities. This individual will perform lab services such as standard and non standard testing of digital inks and raw materials. This position will work directly with the Operations Technical Coordinator on Customer Complaint Investigation, SLED Extensions and Second Source Program testing. This position reports to the Director of Operations, coordinates tasks with the Operations Technical Director and works in cooperation with other departments, particularly manufacturing and R&D. As a lab tech, you will be responsible to:

  • Perform established assessment tests/evaluations of products in QC when assistance is needed.
  • Establish and maintain accurate and complete records for all color match formulas, hard files, and computer files.
  • Maintain the work area, which includes cleaning and upkeep of equipment and instruments, waste disposal and keeping everything in safe working order.

Qualifications
