What You'll Do:
- Automate, deploy, and support network solutions in a massive-scale public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
- Create and develop automation frameworks for multi-cloud architecture
- Apply relevant programming experience.
- Utilize your strong knowledge of networks and protocols.
- Manage Linux-based servers.
- Participate in design reviews and provide network support and leadership to the Engineering organization.
- Champion a development mindset, focusing on managing network infrastructure as code, eliminating toil, and fostering a strong sense of accountability and service ownership.
- Evaluate, implement, and support network performance, capacity, and availability monitoring tools.
- Help to grow the global network function by onboarding new engineers.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in network infrastructure, network with peers, and attend industry events.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
- Occasional travel may be required to perform job functions.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 7+ years of professional experience, including some within an enterprise SaaS organization.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby).
- Development experience with Chef, Ansible, or equivalent configuration management tools.
- Strong runbook automation experience using Rundeck or equivalent tools.
- In-depth, hands-on experience deploying cloud network infrastructure using Terraform, CDK for Terraform, and CloudFormation, or extensive experience with Chef & Ansible.
- Experience deploying infrastructure as code using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions/Workflows, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, BGP, and Cloud network constructs (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with the administration of Linux-based servers.
- Confidence in owning and delivering projects and issues to resolution.
- A passion for excellence, natural problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking, with a drive to understand and resolve complex issues.
- A solid understanding of networking systems and protocols, particularly as they pertain to a public cloud environment.
- A desire to work in a collaborative and supportive work environment.
