You will be part of a new engineering team in the Transactions & Private Debt product area, contributing to architecture, component design, performance, and accessibility. Responsibilities include developing high-quality front-end applications, leading UI design, collaborating with teams, and ensuring code quality. Must have:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications.

  • Knowledge of C# .NET and object-oriented design principles.
  • Understanding of APIs, state management, and browser performance.
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, NX, Angular CLI) and Git.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with any unit testing framework.
  • Experience working in an Azure environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive communication skills and fluency in English.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

We’re seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer with deep expertise in Angular and modern front-end development practices to help shape the user experience of our web platform. The SimCorp Dimension product was originally designed for running on-premises with clients, utilizing hardware resources being available 24/7. As we are moving our business model towards being a SaaS provider and based on Microsoft Azure, we need to re-implement our core platform to be efficient on dynamic Azure infrastructure with a key focus on the cost of compute. You’ll be part of a new engineering team in the Transactions & Private Debt product area, contributing to everything from architecture and component design to performance and accessibility and responsible for delivering functionality that enables clients to make investment decisions with our back-office applications.

The Transactions & Private Debt product area consists of four teams, each with four to seven software engineers across several geographical locations.

The new team will mainly consist of team members on-site in Noida, and as Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer you will therefore work closely together with other team members both on-site in Noida, as well as with team members from other locations (in Europe).

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using AngularJS.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, reusable UI components and frontend architecture.
  • Ability to work with the back-end, and collaborate with the team, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Test and deploy applications and systems.
  • Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and performance optimization.
  • Drive technical discussions and decision-making aligned with long-term business goals.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of our development processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on Angular (v18+).
  • Strong command of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SASS.
  • Experience building responsive, accessible, and mobile-friendly web applications.
  • Knowledge of C# .NET and object-oriented design principles.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, state management, and browser performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, NX, Angular CLI) and version control (Git).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with any unit testing framework (Junit, Mockito, JEST, etc).
  • Good to have knowledge on Ag-Grid, Dev Extreme.
  • Experience of working in an Azure environment.
  • Experience working in an international setting with people from many different cultures.
  • Positive and constructive approach, you facilitate smooth interpersonal interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You prioritize your team and aim for an enjoyable working environment.
  • Extensive communication skills and fluency in English (speaking and writing).
