Job Description

The Line Operator independently conducts production operations on complex automated installations, grouping together a set of machines and production or packaging technologies, in compliance with SQCDM (Safety Quality Cost Deadlines Management) procedures and standards. The production line operator is responsible for the quality of the final product. This role involves ensuring production while respecting safety, quality, and productivity standards, controlling the line's proper functioning, and assisting with technical interventions and series changes.
Must have:
  • Ensure production while respecting safety, quality, and productivity standards, as well as the certification procedure for the position.
  • Control and guarantee the proper functioning of their production line.
  • Ensure/assist with the stopping and restarting of the line during any technical intervention.
  • Ensure and control machine and part parameters, manage/organize and carry out series changes under the supervisor's responsibility, respecting established standards.
  • Assist operators in respecting reaction standards, and particularly ensure the use of line QRQC.
  • Ensure curative and preventive technical actions.
  • Professional experience on automated means in industry, ideally acquired in the automotive industry or in a high-volume technological industry.
  • BAC/BAC pro technical level knowledge or equivalent (electrotechnics, automation, mechanics, production engineering...), CQPM of equivalent level or BTS.
  • Possess the necessary authorizations for the position.
  • Technical skills (pneumatics, mechanics, robotics, automation, vision, hydraulics, electrotechnics, etc.).

The Etaples site designs, develops, and manufactures electric propulsion systems, particularly starter-alternators.

We are looking for Automated Equipment Operators. As a member of the Autonomous Production Team, the line operator independently conducts production operations on complex automated installations, grouping together a set of machines and production or packaging technologies, in compliance with SQCDM (Safety Quality Cost Deadlines Management) procedures and standards.

The production line operator is responsible for the quality of the final product.

Your Challenges?

  • Ensure production while respecting safety, quality, and productivity standards, as well as the certification procedure for the position.
  • Control and guarantee the proper functioning of their production line.
  • Ensure/assist with the stopping and restarting of the line during any technical intervention.
  • Ensure and control machine and part parameters, manage/organize and carry out series changes under the supervisor's responsibility, respecting established standards.
  • Assist operators in respecting reaction standards, and particularly ensure the use of line QRQC.
  • Ensure curative and preventive technical actions.

Continuous improvement and communication:

  • Inform their superiors of existing or potential problems they detect.
  • Be proactive and intervene in problem-solving methodology.
  • Submit improvement proposals and participate in their implementation.
  • Participate in progress and continuous improvement projects.
  • Take into consideration downward information from other teams.
  • Alert maintenance teams whenever necessary to ensure the proper functioning of installations within their scope.
  • React in case of deviation or malfunction (safety, quality, logistics, reliability): line stoppage, analysis, personnel replacement, alerting the organization, event reporting...

You have professional experience on automated means in industry, ideally acquired in the automotive industry or in a high-volume technological industry.

BAC/BAC pro technical level knowledge or equivalent (electrotechnics, automation, mechanics, production engineering...), CQPM of equivalent level or BTS.
