As an Electrical Wiring Harness Engineer, you’ll be a pivotal contributor in designing one of the most sophisticated wiring systems ever integrated into a production vehicle. Working closely with a collaborative and innovative Electrical Systems Engineering team, you'll help ensure seamless connectivity between key components—controllers, sensors, and subsystems—to enable safe and reliable autonomous operations.

In this role, you'll influence technical direction, define design standards, and champion process optimization throughout the product lifecycle. This is your chance to shape the future of mobility and contribute to the realization of fully autonomous transportation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the development of complex low-voltage and high-speed electrical harness designs using CATIA V5/V6, with a strong focus on performance, compliance, and manufacturability
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing device transmittals, wiring schematics, and 3D harness routing from initial concept through production release
  • Gain proficiency in and apply best practices for low-voltage distribution architecture and integration
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define electrical system interfaces and power distribution requirements
  • Engage with suppliers to ensure component readiness, while identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement within the electrical engineering function

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience in the automotive or aerospace sectors
  • 6–8 years of experience in engineering roles related to electrical/electronic systems
  • Strong understanding of automotive power distribution and communication networks (e.g., CAN, LIN)
  • Proven experience launching hardware integrated with software or firmware
  • Background in electrical hardware-software integration and system validation

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications

  • Familiarity with signal integrity and EMC/EMI considerations in wiring systems
  • Experience with electrical design tools such as Capital/Mentor Graphics, HarnessXC, or similar
