Job Description

SGS, a Swiss multinational leader in inspection, verification, analysis, and certification services, is seeking a Management Control Analyst. The role involves executing effective financial controls, reconciling accounts, managing monthly results, preparing audit evidence, recommending performance benchmarks, and assisting with financial analysis for contractual negotiations and investment decisions. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in related fields.
Must have:
  • Execute effective financial controls and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Reconcile and analyze various company accounts (claims, bad debts) and present analyses to Financial Planning.
  • Manage monthly results preparation, monitor, and analyze against budget, prior year, and forecast.
  • Prepare and maintain evidence of executed controls for internal and external audits.
  • Recommend benchmarks for measuring operational performance of divisions and departments.
  • Prepare financial analyses for contractual negotiations and product investment decisions.
  • Provide information for capital investment justification, analysis, and drafting.
  • Assist in the development and compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Monitor and control accounts receivable and UR of the assigned business unit.
  • Professional in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields.
  • More than 2 years of experience in related positions, preferably in the sector.

Job Description

  • Execute effective financial controls for the organization following guidelines provided by the Controller and identify opportunities for improvement for implementation.
  • Reconcile and maintain the analysis of various company accounts, i.e., claims, bad debts, and present all analyses in a timely manner to the Financial Planning area according to required presentation guidelines.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly results, monitor and analyze these results against budget, prior year, forecast, as well as explain month-to-month fluctuations.
  • Prepare and maintain evidence of executed controls in order to meet the requirements of internal and external audit.
  • Recommend benchmarks for measuring the operational performance of divisions and departments.
  • Prepare financial analyses for contractual negotiations and product investment decisions.
  • Provide information for the justification, analysis, and drafting of capital investment.
  • Assist in the development and compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Monitor and control accounts receivable and UR of the assigned business unit.
  • Other assigned activities.

Requirements

  • Professional in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields.
  • More than 2 years of experience in related positions, preferably in the sector.
  • Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) reporting.
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Intermediate English.
  • Power BI management. (desirable)
