Job Description

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Within the Auberge family, our people are always finding new ways to take care of the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities of this position are:

• Review daily task sheets and update completed tasks. Consult with supervisor for additional tasks during the shift.
• Load and unload linen and supplies from the cart following department standards.
• Transport linen and supplies from the golf cart or cart to designated areas.
• Organize and store all incoming linen in designated areas.
• Monitor and maintain designated supply levels.
• Maintain and supervise the cleanliness of work areas.
• Assist housekeeping staff as assigned. Attend to each guest with a smile and appropriate greeting, using the guest's name whenever appropriate. Kindly attend to guest requests.
• Make suggestions for improving overall operations, emphasizing increasing guest satisfaction, revenue, and cost reduction.
• Demonstrate and maintain Auberge Resorts' basic standards at all times.
• Work in accordance with hotel and department safety standards.
• Use all hotel equipment safely and properly.
• Participate in and support the hotel's and company's efforts in sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the Planet Auberge program.
• Perform other duties as instructed, needed, or assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as department needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• High school graduate.
• Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in a luxury or Forbes establishment. Department: Housekeeping.
• Experience in different hotel establishments.
• Knowledge of brand history and vision.
• Experience dealing with all levels, providing support to all hotel employees.
• Excellent overall communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work well in a team.
