Job Description

Dungarvin is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist children ages 12-21 with disabilities, behavioral or medical complexities in their residential program. This role involves supporting children in activities to increase their independence, providing coaching, supervision, and role modeling life skills. Responsibilities may also include transportation, medication administration, meal preparation, and personal care assistance. Dungarvin is a mission-driven team focused on person-centered supports, helping individuals live as independently as possible.
Must have:
  • Valid driver's license
  • 6 months of professional work/volunteer experience supporting vulnerable populations
  • Must be 21 years of age or older per Washington state licensing requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED

Eligible Applicants must have a Valid Drivers License AND 6 months of professional work/Volunteer experience supporting vulnerable populations (ex. caregiver, nanny, paraeducator, direct support professional, etc.)

Job Description

We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist children ages 12-21 with disabilities; behavioral or medical complexities in our residential program.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP/Caregiver), you will support children with activities that focus on increasing their independence. As a DSP/Caregiver, you will work with children to provide coaching, supervision, and role modeling life skills. The job may also include transportation, medication administration, meal preparation, and assistance with personal cares.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • 6 months of professional work experience supporting vulnerable populations required (ex. caregiver, nanny, paraeducator, direct support professional, etc.)
  • 6 months of volunteer experience may be used in leui of professional work experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older per Washington state licensing requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
