Job Description
- Expertise in chassis and integration of components for an electricity production system using hydrogen
- Define design principles to achieve cost objectives
- Cost design activity
- Perform 3D modeling of chassis, supports, fairings, and complete assembly
- Prepare Definition Justification Documents (structural dimensioning, tolerance stack-up, manufacturability, environmental resistance)
- Pilot and report on technical exchanges with suppliers in collaboration with the purchasing department
- Perform 2D part drawing
- Organize and report on mock-up and plan reviews before launch with dedicated teams
- Contribute to validation reviews of prototype/first series parts
- BAC +2, BTS or DUT degree
- Significant experience (> 8 years) in mechanical design, sheet metal work, welded chassis, and folded screwed sheets in the special machines sector
- Proficiency in Catia V5/V6
- Proficiency in 2D drawing
- Proficiency in ISO Dimensioning / Dimension Chains
- Knowledge of treatments, paints, and protections for steel and aluminum parts
- Written and spoken English proficiency
- Autonomous with good analytical skills

Job Description
As part of the development of our activity in the energy sector, we are looking for a Mechanical Study Pilot who will intervene on the scope of the machine chassis and integration of components of an electricity production system, implementing hydrogen.
Your missions:
- Define design principles to achieve a cost objective
- Costing of the design activity
- 3D modeling of the chassis, supports, fairings and the complete assembly, with the support of the teams
- Definition Justification Document: Structural dimensioning, tolerance stack-up, consolidation of manufacturability, resistance to environments
- Piloting and reporting on technical exchanges with our suppliers in collaboration with our purchasing department
- 2D drawing of parts, with the support of a designer-drafter
- Organization and reporting of mock-up and plan reviews before launch with dedicated teams
- Contribution to validation reviews of prototype/first series parts
Qualifications
With a BAC +2, BTS or DUT degree, you have significant experience in mechanical design in sheet metal work, in the design of welded chassis and screwed folded sheets (> 8 years) in the special machines sector.
You have a good command of:
- Catia V5/V6.
- 2D drawing.
- ISO Dimensioning / Dimension Chains.
- Treatments, paints and protections for steel and aluminum parts
- Written/spoken English (international suppliers)
You are autonomous and have good analytical skills. Expertise in chassis and integration of components of an electricity production system, implementing hydrogen, will be appreciated.
