Photonics Project Manager M/F

We are looking for a Photonics Project Manager to manage complex projects in the manufacturing process sector (signage, defense, medical, automotive, aeronautics). You will define specifications, deadlines, resources, and budget, plan and oversee operational implementation, consolidate technical and economic elements, define test methods, and ensure successful commissioning and adjustment phases. You will also report on progress and provide project recommendations.

Must Have

• Define functional and technical specifications, deadlines, resources, and budget
• Plan and manage operational project implementation in compliance with contractual obligations
• Consolidate technical, economic, deadline, service, quality, and project elements
• Define and execute test methods, processes, and protocols
• Ensure smooth initial start-up and adjustment phase of new processes and equipment
• Report project progress in committees and weekly meetings
• Plan project points and recommendations based on schedules
• Propose additional meetings for critical issues or deviations
• Engineering degree in Physics, Optics, Optronics, or Photonics
• At least 8 years of experience in development and project monitoring related to these technologies, preferably in industry
• Fluent in English

Job Description

As part of new projects in the manufacturing process sector, used in several fields such as signage, defense, medical, automotive, aeronautics, we are looking for a Photonics Project Manager to manage projects related to various industrial applications, capable of leading complex projects in a demanding technological environment.

• You will be responsible for studies related to these new technologies, defining functional and technical specifications, deadlines, resources, and budget.
• You will plan and manage the operational implementation of the project in compliance with contractual obligations (deadlines, milestones, deliverables).
• You will consolidate technical, economic, deadline, service, quality, and project elements, and verify that prerequisites are taken into account.
• You will define the methods, processes, and test protocols to be implemented, and carry out the manipulations and analyses necessary for the progress and smooth running of the project.
• You will ensure the smooth running of the initial start-up and the adjustment phase of new processes and associated equipment.
• You will report in various committees, communicate and plan data and results by setting up weekly progress points.
• You will also plan project points and project recommendations based on the schedules of the various projects under your responsibility.
• You will propose additional meetings in case of a difficult point or a deviation from the previously communicated progress plan.

Qualifications

With an engineering degree in Physics, Optics, Optronics, Photonics, you have at least 8 years of experience in the development and monitoring of projects related to these technologies, preferably in the industrial sector.

You are fluent in English.

Your technical expertise, your mastery of project management, your ability to unite teams around your projects, will allow you to succeed in this position.
