Manager - Film & TV, PlayStation Productions

Location: Culver City, California

PlayStation Productions is seeking a Manager to work in its film and television department. Our ideal candidate has in-depth experience developing and producing both the feature and television space, live action and animation. The idea candidate or this role must have a deep passion for PlayStation, film and tv, as well as a strong business acumen and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and organizations.

RESPONSIBILITIES, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee multiple projects in development and production, as well as a high volume of submissions and meetings
  • Read, analyze and generate notes for projects in all stages of production
  • Collaborating with the legal department to ensure that all agreements and contracts are in place
  • Attends and participates in creatives meetings
  • Evaluates and meets with new writers, directors, producers, and actors for use in PlayStation projects
  • Particiate and run annual budget for PlayStation Productions
  • Mentor and guide junior creative team members and assistants
  • Stay current on industry trends and developments; continuously looking for new and innovative ways to develop and produce feature films.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 5+ years of working as an executive in studio or within a production company
  • Successful track record and expertise working in film and tv development and production
  • Accredited experience with a film and/or tv series
  • Established connections and network within the film and tv industry
  • Confident in locating , cultivating and formulating ideas for new talent
  • Experience in effectively communicating with executives and members of the creative group
  • Skilled in handling multiple tasks and ability to work within a fast-paced environment

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

In addition, this role is eligible for SIE’s top-tier benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program and coveted employee discounts for Sony products. This role also may be eligible for a bonus package. Click here to learn more.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$149,800 — $224,600 USD
