Job Summary

Job Description

Develop market-fit products for the Nissan Brand, ensuring life cycle proposals including volume, mix, gross profit, and VME. Coordinate with Product Planning, Market Intelligence, and Program Development. Manage the life cycle of assigned product line-ups, finalize M&S inputs for future products, and lead launch plans for product GTM. Develop product pricing strategies, define action plans to deliver sales volume and profit targets, and cascade relevant information for sales training and PR communication.
Must have:

  • Coordinate with Product Planning, Market Intelligence, Program Development.

EXPECTED END RESULTS

Develop right market fit Product for Nissan Brand and ensure life cycle proposals (Volume , Mix, gross profit, VME etc)

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

  • Coordinates with Product Planning, Market Intelligence, Program Development in developing the plan
  • Life Cycle management of assigned Product line-up to ensure one product refreshment
  • Coordinate with Program Development, Product Planning and MI for inputs and freezing the plan
  • Finalise M&S inputs for future products – Contract Database, Volume logic, Price Positioning, FMI & VME spends etc
  • Coordinate with Product Planning, Program Development, Market Intelligence, Marcom & other relevant functions
  • Lead the launch plan of assigned products for product GTM
  • Plan, Co-ordinate with upstream on program schedule
  • Develop launch plan in coordination with Marcom, PR & other relevant functions
  • Develop strategy for the Product Pricing in line with Market development to ensure desired product competitiveness
  • Tracking of Price movement of competition
  • Periodic review of the same and propose price up / repositioning as per need
  • Define & Develop action plan to deliver Sales Volume & Profit as per target
  • Co-ordinate with all the stakeholders – Sales, Marketing Planning, Marcom for development and execution of plan
  • Product owner to cascade relevant information for sales training & PR communication
  • Co-ordinate defining & communicating key product messages for sales training, PR communication, media agency & other relevant functions
