Job Description

This Manufacturing Management (Supervisor) position at Scientific Games in Alpharetta, GA, involves coordinating hourly employees, managing attendance, accountability, counseling, and scheduling. Position Summary

Responsible for coordinating hourly employees including attendance, accountability, counselling and scheduling in accordance with budgeted man hours. Maintaining good vendor relationships, inventory levels, and good maintenance practices for all plate room equipment. Coordinate activities between Prepress and Plate room. Provide enhanced internal communications, availability of job status, rapid response to and resolution of production and quality problems. Provide a resource role to the teams and operations areas. Directly motivate and coach Plate Room staff. Responsible for conducting operations performance and recommending training, recruiting or termination. Planning, assigning and directing work. Report promptly to the Prepress Manager when prolonged delays occur. Estimate time of delay and when operations will be resumed. Anticipate and ascertain cause of delays in the operations process and takes appropriate action to meet goals and objectives. Enforce safety and the code of conduct objectives. Partner with internal customers on continuous improvement initiatives. Other duties may be assigned.
