Abstraction, part of Virtuos, is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead its external voice and grow brand presence globally. This role involves defining and driving the marketing strategy, ensuring Abstraction is recognized as a trusted partner for AAA game co-development. The manager will work hands-on with agencies and internal teams to craft compelling campaigns, strengthen the brand, generate opportunities, and support business development goals. It's a strategic and executional role, shaping positioning and delivering campaigns across social, web, PR, and events, collaborating closely with the CEO and BD leadership.
Must Have:
  • Define and refine Abstraction’s brand positioning.
  • Generate qualified leads through targeted campaigns.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Present campaign insights and recommendations.
  • Build industry awareness through conferences, press, and partnerships.
  • Manage external marketing, PR, and creative agencies.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or communications, ideally in games.
  • Understanding of the game industry ecosystem.
  • Strong track record in B2B or industry-facing campaigns.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools.

We are growing and want to make our print in the co-development world as the go to studio. That is why we are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our studio’s external voice and grow our brand presence on the global stage. Your main responsibility is to define and drive our marketing strategy, ensuring Abstraction is recognized as a trusted partner for AAA game co-development. You’ll work hands-on with external agencies, our Virtuos colleagues, and internal teams to craft compelling campaigns that strengthen our brand, generate new opportunities, and support business development goals.

This role is both strategic and executional role: you’ll shape our positioning while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver campaigns across social, web, PR, and events. You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO and BD leadership to ensure marketing efforts directly support studio growth.

What Will You Be Doing At Abstraction

  • Shape and Strengthen Our Brand - Define and refine Abstraction’s brand positioning as a top-tier AAA co- development partner by crafting a clear, consistent narrative that reflects our expertise and values.
  • Build and Lead Successful Campaigns - Collaborate closely with Business Development to generate qualified leads through targeted campaigns and develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies across web, social media, PR, and events that align with our business goals.
  • Data & Reporting - Present campaign insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders that ensure marketing spends deliver measurable ROI, as well as use the insights to optimize campaigns (track, analyze, report).
  • Amplify Industry Brand - Build awareness of Abstraction through conferences, press opportunities, speaking engagements, and partnerships and position our studio as a thought leader in AAA co-development.
  • Oversee Agency Partnerships - Manage and direct external marketing, PR, and creative agencies to deliver high-quality campaigns, as well as provide clear objectives and maintain accountability for outcomes.

What You Will Bring Along

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or communications, ideally in games.
  • Understanding the game industry ecosystem.
  • Experience defining and leading multi-platform campaigns.
  • Track record of experience in brand positioning and leading external marketing strategies.
  • Strong track record of executing B2B or industry-facing campaigns that drive growth.
  • Experience managing agencies and external partners to deliver impactful results.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills across written, visual, and digital channels.
  • Experience in using marketing analytics tools to track ROI and optimize campaigns.
