As the Media Performance Manager at Nissan, you will handle the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across digital and traditional channels. Your mission is to drive measurable business outcomes through data-driven media planning, ensuring Nissan’s brand and products reach the right audiences at the right time with maximum impact. This role is pivotal in ensuring marketing dollars are spent wisely and campaigns resonate with diverse regional audiences.
Must have:
  • Develop and execute data-driven media strategies across digital and traditional platforms.
  • Align regional media plans with global brand goals and local market needs.
  • Oversee the implementation of media campaigns, including budgeting, scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, conversion, and ROI.
  • Work closely with CMM, retail, creative, customer experience, and sales teams.
  • Stay updated on emerging media technologies, platforms, and consumer behaviour trends.
  • Deliver regular performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage media budgets efficiently.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications.
  • 8-10 years of experience.
  • Experience in the Middle East.
  • Strong understanding of the regional media landscape.
  • Experience managing agencies and budgets.
  • Data-driven, creative, and organised.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge in paid media specifically on Social.
  • Fluency in Business English and Arabic.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, mainly PPT & Excel (advance).
  • Knowledge in lead management.
  • Knowledge in project management.
  • Experience in managing media management tools.
  • Experience in analyzing, A/B testing and generating findings to improve current approach.
Good to have:
  • Earlier experience in Automotive or Media with a focus in media management

PURPOSE / DETAILS OF THE JOB

As the Media Performance Manager at Nissan, you will handle the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across digital and traditional channels. Your mission is to drive measurable business outcomes through data-driven media planning, ensuring Nissan’s brand and products reach the right audiences at the right time with maximum impact. That is to happen hand in hand with working cross functionally specially with CMM & Retail to ensure we cater to products & markets. While all operations to be data driven to capitalize on marketing media efficiencies.

Main tasks and responsibilities (Including team management if any):

  • Develop and execute data-driven media strategies across digital and traditional platforms.
  • Align regional media plans with global brand goals and local market needs.

Campaign Management

  • Oversee the implementation of media campaigns, including budgeting, scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with media agencies and internal teams to ensure timely and effective campaign execution.

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, conversion, and ROI.
  • Use analytics tools to assess campaign effectiveness and make real-time adjustments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with CMM, retail, creative, customer experience, and sales teams to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy.
  • Coordinate with local market teams to adapt regional campaigns for locally adapted performance.

Innovation & Trend Monitoring

  • Stay updated on emerging media technologies, platforms, and consumer behaviour trends.
  • Recommend innovative approaches to enhance media performance and audience engagement.
  • Work on A/B Media testings to ensure maximum capitalization on various media / creative formats is done for highest business ROI

Reporting & Insights

  • Deliver regular performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations.

Budget Oversight

  • Manage media budgets efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • For a company like Nissan, which operates in a highly competitive and fast-evolving automotive market, this role is pivotal in ensuring that marketing dollars are spent wisely and that campaigns resonate with diverse regional audiences.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS REQUIRED

Background & Experience

  • 8 - 10 yrs experience
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications
  • Experience in the Middle East
  • Earlier experience in Automotive or Media is preferred with a focus in media management
  • Strong understanding of the regional media landscape
  • Experience managing agencies and budgets
  • Data-driven, creative, and organised
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge in paid media specifically on Social – how to read media plans, KPIs and how to distribute the right budgets based on the different platforms
  • Language requirements: Fluency in Business English; Arabic is needed

Specific technical skills

  • MS Office, mainly PPT & Excel (advance)
  • Knowledge in lead management
  • Knowledge in project management
  • Experience in managing media management tools
  • Experience in analyzing, A/B testing and generating findings to improve current approach
