N-iX is looking for a motivated and experienced Technical Writer to join our value team. Within this role, the person will be responsible for developing comprehensive internal and external-facing documentation that meets organizational standards. This role is a key contributor to the client’s ongoing growth. Our client is a forward-thinking, growth-oriented healthcare services and technology company that provides state-of-the-art pharmacy solutions.
- Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
- Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write user manuals, product catalogs, data dictionaries, release notes, technical specifications, onboarding materials, processes, and API documentation.
- Create diagrams, flowcharts, and visuals to support written content.
- Maintain version control and change tracking for documentation across product releases.
- Enforce and evolve documentation standards, company style guides, and templates.
- Advocate for documentation quality and usability across teams.
- Work with Development and Product leads to identify all documentation requirements.
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation.
- Maintain teams’ confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Performs periodic reviews and analyses of current documentation to ensure nothing is outdated.
- Participate in all Scrum events - daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, backlog grooming, and product demos to stay current with product updates and new features.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (particularly with Scrum).
- Strong understanding of document development lifecycle (DDLC).
- Experience in writing technical content for APIs, SaaS products, or developer tools.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.
- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and with others by partially covering the US time zone (till 1 PM ET).
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills.
- Advanced skills in documentation tools and technologies.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
- Experience using API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in English, communications, or a degree in a technical field such as IT, computer science, healthcare, or engineering.
Languages:
- English – Advanced. Excellent command of English with strong grammar, spelling, and writing clarity.
