Job Description

This role involves monitoring and developing commercial activity, supporting the area manager, and achieving turnover and margin objectives for assigned accounts. Key responsibilities include order and sales forecast follow-up, payment monitoring, operational expense tracking, and analyzing local sales. The position also contributes to account plan development, reporting, budget creation, and event organization, while enhancing the company's image.
Must have:
  • Monitor and contribute to the development of commercial activity.

  • Monitor and analyze local sales and inventories.
  • Ensure necessary external communication with customers.
  • Contribute to the development, execution, and management of account plans.
  • Organize and animate account reviews.
  • Contribute to the production of monthly reports.
  • Participate in the realization of annual sales and operational expenses budgets.
  • Provide support for the organization of meetings, trips, seminars, and trade fairs.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the Company’s image.
  • 3 Years’ business degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Strong skills in IT standard tools.
  • Fluent in English (C1).

Job Description

The main mission is monitors and contributes to the development of commercial activity of the covered area in support of the area manager. Ensures the achievement of the turnover and margin objectives of the accounts for which he/she is directly responsible.

Business management:

  • Ensures the follow-up on orders (confirmation, availability, shipping) and sales forecasts update in collaboration with customers, customer service and logistics.
  • Ensures the follow-up of payments and customer reminders in collaboration with financial control.
  • Ensures the follow-up of the operational expenses of the activity of the area (fees, travel, advertising) within the limits of the allocated budgets.
  • Ensures the monitoring and analysis of local sales and inventories of key accounts and proposes the necessary corrective actions with said accounts in collaboration with the area manager.
  • Ensures necessary external communication with customers for the proper functioning of the activity (prices, group communication, newsletter).

Turnover and margin:

  • Guarantees the achievement of the turnover and margin objectives of the accounts for which he/she is responsible within the framework of Vetoquinol policies
  • Shares its analysis and recommendations then proposes the actions to be implemented aimed at improving market share and meeting the needs of key accounts and large accounts
  • Takes part in commercial policy decisions for the accounts for which he/she is responsible
  • Contributes to the registration of products in the countries of the covered area

Account plans and reviews:

  • Contributes to the development, execution, and account plans management for the area covered in coordination with the dedicated team (area manager, product manager, technical manager, regulatory affairs manager, legal affairs).
  • Organizes and animates the reviews of the accounts for which he/she is directly responsible
  • Proposes the monitoring and operating rules relating to the account plans and ensures their good practice

Reporting and budgets:

  • Contributes to the production of monthly reports and reporting tools (Flash sales, EYE).
  • Analyzes realized and forecast sales and reports any identified gaps vs budget to the area manager.
  • Participates by being a force of proposal (support actions, marketing, travel, etc.) in the realization of the annual sales and operational expenses budgets in collaboration with the area manager.
  • Collects the elements available for their realization (customer forecasts, rationalization elements, launch projects, customer marketing plans)

Events and travel:

  • Provides the necessary support to the proper organization of meetings, trips, seminars, trade fairs and other international events (organization, agenda, communication, reception, logistics) in collaboration with the area manager, the technical manager and/or the product manager.

Communication:

  • Contributes to the enhancement of Company’s image through participation in professional events, through the choice of means of communication and protects the image of the Group

Qualifications

  • 3 Years’ business degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Strong skills in IT standard tools
  • Fluent in English (C1)

Additional Information

The position can be located in Magny-Vernois (70) or in a subsidiary.

Several international travels related to the accounts for which he/she is responsible and within the framework of specific events.
