Job Description

As an operational excellence Co-Op at Haleon, you will support the deployment of OpEx standards and continuous improvement initiatives across the site. You will be involved in continuous improvement activities to ensure zero accidents, defects, and waste. You will help assess the site against HAPS Maturity matrices, support in closing gaps, and understand data governance and systems. The role involves implementing day-to-day continuous improvement activities, emphasizing the importance of data governance and system understanding, and AI enhancements for Power BI, totaling more than 75 words.
Must have:
  • Support OpEx standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement day-to-day continuous improvement activities.
  • Assess the site against HAPS Maturity matrices.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Have an active student status or within 12 months post-graduation.
  • Be eligible to work in the US on a full-time basis.
Good to have:
  • Basic understanding of GMP environment.

As an operational excellence Co-Op at Haleon, you will support the deployment of OpEx standards and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?

  • Operational Excellence being used to develop the capability of all the Site personnel to implement day to day continuous improvement activities.
  • Helping to ensure the day-to-day continuous improvement activities result in a continuous improvement on Site Performance towards the goal of Zero Accidents, Zero Defects and Zero Waste.
  • To ‘self-assess’ the Site vs. the HAPS Maturity matrices and to support the site to close any gaps.
  • Emphasizes the importance of data governance and system understanding
  • AI Enhancements for Power BI: Highlights current initiatives in data visualization and AI integration

To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:

Education required:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a degree program
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of, their employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization
  • Candidate must be eligible to work on a full-time basis during the co-op duration (40 hours/week)
  • 3.0 or greater cumulative GPA

Other requirements:

  • Able to work on site in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred requirements:

  • Basic understanding of working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment
  • Awareness of Lean Methodology
