As the Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the studio. From facilities and health & safety to events and operational processes, you’ll help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment where our team can thrive. This is a fixed term contract and part time applications welcome. This is an office-based role in our Leamington Spa studio.
Third Kind Games - a Virtuos Studio, is a world-class co-development games studio. Third Kind Games was founded in 2016 by a team of nine former Activision veterans and became a Virtuos Studio in 2024. Our studio is based in Royal Leamington Spa and we also have remote studios in Poland and Spain.
Our three studios have been built on the same original spirit and values since our beginning. We work with some of the biggest names in the games industry, such as Blizzard, Amazon and Microsoft. We’re proud of our track record working on critically acclaimed games and franchises. We are also setting new benchmarks for creativity in the games industry, driving technical expertise in programming alongside Art innovation.

Role Overview

- Scoping of office improvements and renovations, working with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, source suppliers, and manage project logistics.

- Overseeing contractors and services (cleaning, maintenance, energy, recycling, etc.), ensuring competitive pricing and high service levels.

- Being responsible for the logistics and processes for onboarding and employing team members.
- Supporting and collaborating with our office team to ensure office areas are welcoming and well presented for our team and visitors.

Skills you need
- 3+ years of proven experience in an equivalent or similar operations role.
- Experience using technology platforms to solve problems, analyse data, and improve processes.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and other IT systems; comfortable with data entry and reporting.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong presentation skills and confidence communicating with colleagues at all levels.
- A natural problem solver with a proactive mindset and motivation to take on new responsibilities.
- Supportive and patient, contributing to a positive and inclusive working atmosphere.
- Adaptable and personable, you will have good people skills.
- Willing to take on extra tasks when needed to ensure goals are achieved.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Skills it would be great to have
- Conducting research, compilation of data and report generation.
