Job Description

This internship at Philips offers undergraduate and/or graduate students a paid, hands-on experience in Operations Transformation. Must Have:

  • Detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.

Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities at our sites in Plymouth and Colorado Springs. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

Your role:

  • Assist in the analysis and optimization of supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Support the team in identifying opportunities for MedExcellence, focusing on delivering high-quality outcomes and operational excellence.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, reducing waste, and improving overall supply chain performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to complex supply chain challenges.
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations to share findings and recommendations with team members and stakeholders.
  • Engage in learning opportunities to deepen understanding of supply chain dynamics and best practices within the medical devices sector.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and the willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Take ownership of a specific project workstream, from initial conceptualization to execution, ensuring objectives are met and timelines are adhered to.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN or Colorado Springs, CO is $25.00 to $29.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Plymouth, MN or Colorado Springs, CO.
