Job Description
In this role, you will have the opportunity, as a product expert for Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) with the Zenition product platform, to bring innovative mobile C-arm solutions closer to surgeons by supporting (Key) Account Managers in the sales process with your comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge of devices, software, solutions, and services.
Area of responsibility: North-East Germany
Your Job:
- Product expert (devices, software, solutions, services) who supports (Key) Account Managers in the sales process by providing clinical and technical product knowledge.
- Creation of demand-oriented product configurations / service models (incl. upgrades of the installed base) and price proposals in general; in particular, offer creation and sale of products, updates, upgrades, and consumables to existing customers (depending on business), in consultation and close cooperation with the (Key) Account Manager. The goal is for the MSS to expand follow-up business for existing customers/contacts.
- Offer presentations and negotiations (together with the (Key) Account Manager) or alone), highlighting the advantages and application possibilities positively for the customer.
- Development of sales strategies and needs analyses/forecasts coordinated within the sales team, as well as realization of sales targets (order intake, price realization, and revenue) in the assigned districts / for the respective area of responsibility.
- Development of local sales concepts for product positioning (devices, software, solutions, services) in the team and implementing them.
- Monitoring of competition and changes in the industry and providing effective feedback to the marketing and sales organizations or Commercial Policy, including suggestions for expanding the product offering.
- Processing customer complaints and inquiries to achieve higher customer satisfaction/retention.
- Close cooperation with (Software) Customer Service and driving continuous improvement through Lean Management.
- If Opportunity Owner, he/she creates and delivers accurate monthly business forecasts through exact lead management (SFDC Accuracy) (partially also master data maintenance).
You should bring the following:
- Completed degree (technical, business, medical) or many years of clinical experience with further training.
- Several years of professional experience in sales of medical systems & solutions, services, and/or consulting (Healthcare).
- Ideally experience in medical capital goods or IT or clinical/medical environment.
- Very good knowledge of healthcare processes.
- Good medical knowledge.
- Ideally very good IT knowledge, especially in Healthcare Informatics (depending on the area).
- Ideally good knowledge of compensation structures in healthcare.
- Convincing, obliging demeanor and equally high sales and IT affinity.
- Strong negotiation skills and very good communication skills.
- High self-initiative.
- Reliable task fulfillment and determination.
- Ability to identify problems, solve them independently, and escalate them to the right places.
- High commitment and willingness to travel.
- Motivated to work independently and able to organize oneself efficiently.
- European driving license and able to drive long distances daily.
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Office and skills in handling all new IT and communication tools.
- Fluent German and English skills.
