Seeking an experienced Production Operations Supervisor with a strong engineering background and proven leadership in regulated manufacturing environments. This role is critical for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with medical quality standards, and implementing Lean methodologies to optimize production processes. Responsibilities include leading production operators, developing financial forecasts, optimizing manufacturing metrics, and ensuring adherence to QMS, regulatory, and Health & Safety protocols in MedTech OEMs. The supervisor will also provide training, oversee production scheduling, and drive innovation projects.

Must Have

  • Lead and manage a team of production operators
  • Develop and execute financial forecasts and operating plans
  • Optimise key manufacturing metrics: productivity, equipment utilisation, cost of non-quality, and overall efficiency
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Integrate New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
  • Ensure compliance with medical device quality standards, QMS adherence, regulatory requirements, and Health & Safety protocols
  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to operators
  • Oversee production processes like production scheduling, resource planning
  • Drive innovation and workflow optimization & improvement projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
  • Minimum 8+ years in shop floor manufacturing
  • Proven ability to lead and manage production teams effectively
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and SAP
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product quality standards
  • Familiarity with medical quality requirements, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to thrive in high-compliance environments with flexibility and adaptability

We are seeking an experienced Production Operations Supervisor with a strong engineering background and proven leadership in regulated manufacturing environments. This role is critical for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with medical quality standards, and implementing Lean methodologies to optimise production processes.

Your Role:

  • Lead and manage a team of production operators, ensuring productivity, precision, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Develop and execute financial forecasts and operating plans aligned with organisational goals.
  • Optimise key manufacturing metrics: productivity, equipment utilisation, cost of non-quality, and overall efficiency.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and integrate New Product Introduction (NPI) processes for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with medical device quality standards, QMS adherence, regulatory requirements, and Health & Safety protocols applicable in MedTech OEMs and other regulated industries.
  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to operators, fostering skill development and operational excellence.
  • Oversee production processes like production scheduling, resource planning, enabling optimization & on time deliveries.
  • Drive innovation and workflow optimization & improvement projects in a dynamic, environment.

You're the right fit if you have :

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years in shop floor manufacturing, preferably in regulated industry MedTech, Medical Devices, Pharma, Aerospace, or Food industries.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage production teams effectively.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and SAP.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product quality standards.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with medical quality requirements, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Work Environment: Ability to thrive in high-compliance, environments with flexibility and adaptability.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an onsite role.
