Job Description

As Sales Leader IGT Devices Spain, you will lead the commercial success of Philips' Image Guided Therapy Devices portfolio. This high-impact leadership role involves delivering sustainable business growth, driving market leadership, and ensuring operational excellence across Spain. You will define and execute sales strategies, oversee commercial processes, partner with marketing, lead negotiations, monitor market developments, and build a high-performing sales organization to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Must Have:
  • Lead and manage the IGT Devices sales function across Spain to maximize sales, revenue, and market share.
  • Define and execute clear, actionable sales strategies and plans aligned with customer needs, market trends, and Business Marketing & Commercial (BMC) objectives.
  • Ensure sales operations align with Philips’ strategic priorities and SPoR (Sales, Planning & Operations Review) goals.
  • Oversee key commercial processes, including distribution, contracting, forecasting, budgeting, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with marketing to shape pricing, positioning, and sales priorities that drive growth and price realization.
  • Lead contract and price negotiations within established policies and frameworks.
  • Monitor market developments and competitive activity to strengthen Philips’ position in Image Guided Therapy.
  • Ensure compliance with Philips’ business processes, quality standards, and ethical conduct.
  • Build and empower a high-performing sales organization capable of achieving ambitious growth targets.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in medical devices, ideally in interventional cardiology, radiology, or vascular therapy.
  • Proven success in leading national sales teams and delivering sustained business growth.
  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes and clinical sales environments.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in medical devices, ideally in interventional cardiology, radiology, or vascular therapy.
  • Proven success in leading national sales teams and delivering sustained business growth.
  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes and clinical sales environments.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
