In this role, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in the development and manufacturing of innovative electronics and sensor systems for physiological parameters. You will gain valuable insights into product development in a high-tech environment, support the testing of new prototypes, and evaluate their functionality in the laboratory. You will work closely with experienced developers and gain practical experience in a modern MedTech environment.

Must Have

  • Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Medical Technology, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Interest in prototype development, setup & testing.
  • Independent, analytical and structured way of working.
  • Enjoy hands-on work in a team.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
  • Availability for at least 6 months.
  • Support in the development and adaptation of analog circuits.
  • Conduct measurements on electronic components.
  • Evaluation of electronics prototypes.
  • Modeling & simulation of circuits.
  • Creation of PCB layouts.
  • Assembly and commissioning of electronic modules.
  • Support in the development of new sensor systems for measuring physiological parameters.
  • Perform design tasks.
  • Assembly of prototype or pre-series samples.
  • Support in setting up experimental test environments.
  • Participate in test campaigns including preparation & execution.
  • Evaluate experimental data.
  • Document & present results in the project team.

Job Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity

to actively participate in the development and manufacturing of innovative electronics and sensor systems for physiological parameters. You will gain valuable insights into product development in a high-tech environment, support the testing of new prototypes, and evaluate their functionality in the laboratory. You will work closely with experienced developers and gain practical experience in a modern MedTech environment.

Your tasks

You can choose to focus on electronics or sensor technology – or combine both.

Electronics

  • Support in the development and adaptation of analog circuits
  • Conduct measurements on electronic components (e.g., oscilloscope, function generator)
  • Evaluation of electronics prototypes
  • Modeling & simulation of circuits (e.g., LTspice)
  • Creation of PCB layouts (e.g., Eagle)
  • Assembly and commissioning of electronic modules

Sensor Technology

  • Support in the development of new sensor systems for measuring physiological parameters
  • Design tasks (Creo Elements/Direct, Creo Parametric)
  • Assembly of prototype or pre-series samples
  • Support in setting up experimental test environments
  • Participation in test campaigns including preparation & execution
  • Evaluation of experimental data (Excel, Python etc.)
  • Documentation & presentation of results in the project team

Great if you bring the following

This is our compensation package

  • Salary: depending on your professional experience and your current studies, your salary will be 17.58 €/h or 19.70 €/h
