Must Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with strong fundamentals in Software Engineering.

As a Software Engineer at Applied Materials, you’ll dive deep into ground-breaking technologies—like machine learning and AI—to craft novel software solutions that solve our customers’ high-value problems. Our Software Engineers are responsible for designing, prototyping, developing, and debugging software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices to ensure quality and functionality. You'll develop software documentation and test procedures, troubleshoot software problems, and communicate with internal customers to understand project requirements. Software development Engineer in a Developer role in a software product engineering group.

• Develop code for software product development. Involved in every step of software development- Design, development, testing.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Experience level – 3 - 6 years.
• Extensive and expert programming experience in at least one general programming language (e.g. C#, Python, C++) & tech stack to write maintainable, scalable, unit-tested code.
• Knowledge in multithreading, Inter Process Communication techniques like WCF, gRPC, REST.
• Knowledge in Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 will be an added advantage.
• Production debugging is a plus.
• Ability to work independently.
