Iron Mountain is seeking a Critical Facilities Operations & Maintenance Junior Engineer for their data center team. This role is ideal for recent graduates in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. The engineer will monitor, operate, and maintain critical systems like HVAC, generators, and UPS units, ensuring 24/7 data center uptime. Responsibilities include routine inspections, scheduled maintenance, adhering to safety standards, emergency response, and collaborating with vendors. The position offers mentorship from industry experts, fostering technical skill development in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Must have:
  • Learn to monitor, operate, and maintain critical systems like HVAC, generators, and UPS units to ensure our data center runs 24/7 without a hitch.
  • Work alongside our experienced team on everything from routine inspections to scheduled maintenance, helping us identify and fix potential issues before they become problems.
  • Dive into our detailed procedures (MOPs and SOPs) to help us ensure all work is done safely and consistently.
  • Help us uphold strict safety and environmental standards, making sure every task is performed correctly.
  • Be part of our emergency response team, assisting with power or cooling issues and helping us figure out what went wrong so we can prevent it from happening again.
  • Work with external vendors and contractors, helping manage their access and ensuring their work meets our high standards.
