Job Description
At RED Creative Services, we believe that great creative work deserves workflows that actually work. That’s where you come in. As an Operations Specialist, you’ll be the architect of smooth processes and the translator of complex workflows into simple, intuitive systems. You’ll be part of a brand-new Ops team built to enable the whole of RCS, giving our artists, producers, and storytellers the tools, clarity, and systems they need to focus on what they do best: creating the epic content that powers our franchises.
Key responsibilities:
- Help design and scale processes that bring order without killing creativity.
- Support resource planning, intake, and workflow optimization across multiple craft and production teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and proposing smarter, simpler solutions.
- Act as the go-to problem solver for “why does this workflow feel broken?” and “how do we make this easier?”
- Make Jira not just usable, but lovable — building workflows, forms, and dashboards that feel intuitive and just work.
- Translate “Ops-speak” into language that busy creatives, producers, and stakeholders can actually follow.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in operations, project management, or production support, ideally in a creative, gaming, tech, or creative agency environment.
- Experience working cross-functionally with creative, production, or technical teams.
- Exposure to process improvement, workflow design, or intake systems.
- Proven track record of configuring and managing Jira projects, workflows, forms, and dashboards.
- Familiarity with workflow and resource management tools.
- Strong Jira knowledge, including workflows, forms, and dashboards.
- Comfort with data dashboards and reporting.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn review tools for creative work.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in a way that makes sense to non-technical colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to balance structure and flexibility by creating processes that support, not stifle, creative work.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to partner effectively with producers, creatives, and leadership.
- Curiosity, patience, and a drive to make things better and simpler.
