Job Description

Provides analytical and specialized administrative support to Legal team across complex details and advanced administrative duties. Executes special or continuous research and data analysis tasks. Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data, and prepares reports/recommendations. Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties. Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports. Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature. Assignments may be found in various functional areas.
Must have:
  • Filings of company profiles.
  • Creating and distributing company board books.
  • Maintaining legal department files.
  • Maintaining company and subsidiaries corporate minute books.
  • General duties such as filing, having agreements signed and distributing to appropriate parties.
  • Completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways.
  • Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
  • Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
  • Perform accurate legal research and analysis.
  • Uses exceptional knowledge to interpret laws, rulings and regulations in legal documents.
  • Compile, proofread and revise drafts of legal documents and reports.
  • Serves are primary point of contact for daily record keeping with electronic and hard copy filing of documents.
  • Obtain relevant information from other organizations or agencies.
  • Create and organize information and generate reference tools for easy use by the office.
  • Prepare and format legal and management reports.
  • Uses exceptional organizational skills to maintain and update databases and tracking systems.
  • Respond to all case-related queries.
  • Ability to work independently, requires very little instructions on new assignments.
  • Recommends new and efficient procedures on new assignments.
  • May be informal team leader.
