As BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH, we supply the capital with climate-friendly electricity and heat. Our district heating network, with a length of more than 2,000 kilometers, is the largest in Western Europe. We supply about a third of Berlin's households with heat.
With the expertise of our approximately 2,200 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from generation to network operation and expansion to sales. We are working at full speed on the coal phase-out by 2030 and climate-neutral generation by 2045. In doing so, we significantly support the state of Berlin in achieving its climate goals.
On the way there, we want to realize a higher proportion of renewable energies and waste heat. To do this, we need to redesign many of our locations and facilities. For this challenge and the associated tasks, we need people who are fully committed to our common goal of a local heat transition – people like you.
