Bazaarvoice is looking for an Outbound Sales Development Representative to build and maintain a business pipeline. The role involves uncovering company needs, demonstrating product value, and partnering with Account Directors. The selected candidate will learn the sales cycle from beginning to end and gain experience with best-in-class sales development tools. The responsibilities include prospecting through email, phone, and LinkedIn, understanding client needs, presenting product solutions, and collaborating to secure new business opportunities. The overall goal is to connect brands and retailers with consumers by providing trustworthy content. The company is looking for someone who is self-motivated, resilient, coachable, and possesses excellent communication skills with a desire to learn.
Must have:
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline.
  • Uncover company needs and tailor Bazaarvoice solutions.
  • Demonstrate product value via various communication methods.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to learn quickly.
  • Comfortable handling objections and rejection.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in a hybrid inbound/outbound sales environment.

What you'll be doing: * Building and maintaining a pipeline of business through email, phone and LinkedIn prospecting * Uncovering a company’s needs and catering Bazaarvoice’s value according to those specific needs * Demonstrating the value propositions of our products and services via webinars, emails, phone calls, etc. * Positioning a high-ROI solution to some of the most well-known brands and retailers in the world * Partnering with an Account Director to cultivate new business opportunities * Learning the Sales cycle from beginning to end * Learning a range of best-in-class Sales Development tools and processes Who you are: * Excellent work ethic: Self-motivated with an ability to learn quickly. Ownership of role as if it was your own business * Resilience: Must be comfortable handling objections, rejection, and hearing “No”, shaking it off, and continuing forward * Motivated: You have a high level of enthusiasm and energy that can be felt on the other end of the line * Coachability: You must be able to listen and take training/feedback with a positive approach * Exceptional Communication Skills: Clearly and concisely communicate, as well as effectively listen with both clients and internal business partners * Curiosity: Desire to learn about both Bazaarvoice and the clients we reach Nice to have: * Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, Powerpoint and Excel * Experience making calls in a hybrid inbound/outbound environment
$75,000 - $80,000 a year
At Bazaarvoice, we carefully consider multiple factors when determining compensation. Since we believe the transparency and integrity builds trust, we want to share that we expect the OTE (on target earnings) for this position to be in the range listed above is based on Bazaarvoice's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level. While this is a good faith estimate of the expected OTE range, Bazaarvoice reserves the right to pay outside this range if these assumptions and understandings are modified as we progress through the interview process.
