About the Team:
The team you will join is responsible for building the next generation of consumer-facing displays that serve billions of page views a month on sites you've most certainly heard of. Team size of 14 who works cross functionally with teams located across globe.
How you’ll make an impact:
Architect and scale new display applications for collecting and displaying various forms of consumer-generated content at a massive scale.
Lead the design and development of client-facing tooling to configure consumer applications and interact with Bazaarvoice services.
Author and review technical design documents, collaborating with Principal Engineering Committee (PEC) members and other stakeholders to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
Own and improve application performance, with a deep understanding of web performance for both desktop and mobile, and establish effective monitoring.Effectively build, cache, and serve our client-customized applications for thousands of clients to serve millions of consumers, with a strong focus on security best practices.
Mentor and guide fellow engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.
The must have skills that matter:
You have 8+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong track record of working on large-scale web applications.
You possess a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, especially data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
You have extensive, hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Web Components.
You can demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of system design and can architect solutions for complex problems.
You understand what it takes for a browser to obtain and execute JavaScript, and you have deep knowledge of web performance and security principles.
When you think of building web applications, you think past the console to the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipeline.
