Apple's Worldwide Developer Relations team (WWDR) seeks a proactive Partnership Manager to empower developers in creating extraordinary app experiences on Apple platforms. This role involves building strong relationships, managing accounts, and collaborating with internal teams and third-party developers, particularly focusing on creative segments like Visual Effects, Immersive Media, Industrial Design, and Architecture where 3D is extensively used. The manager will guide cross-collaborative efforts to align with organizational goals and help shape tools for 3D artists and designers.
Must have:
  • 5-10+ years experience in 3D creative product management, marketing, account management, or relationship management.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the App ecosystem (macOS, iOS, iPadOS and visionOS) including the competition, opposing platforms, and ecosystems.
  • Proven success influencing, creating and managing 3D pipelines used in Media & Entertainment and Enterprise.
  • BS / BA degree or equivalent industry experience.
Good to have:
  • Production experience in creative pro workflow involving 3D, game, film or video production, Industrial Design and Architecture is a plus.
  • Proven success influencing, creating and managing tools and processes used in 3D workflows.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging industry direction and how AI/ML trends will impact this future.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to attend and participate in industry events and conferences.
  • Agile professional who is comfortable working with ambiguity.

As a Partnership Manager for WWDR, you will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and third-party developers, paving the way for them to build strategic products on Apple platforms. Your focus will be on creative segments such as Visual Effects, Immersive Media, Industrial Design and Architecture, where 3D is used extensively.

  • Collaborate independently and in close contact with internal teams in Partnership Management, Technology Evangelism, Worldwide Product Marketing, Engineering, App Store and Business Markets.
  • Promote the adoption of native macOS, iOS, iPadOS, visionOS software development.
  • Attend industry events to stay current on trends, capitalize on outreach opportunities and develop strategies on future trends.
  • Coordinate events with cross-functional teams to educate and support developers, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.
  • Communicate Apple’s approved product and marketing messages clearly and effectively.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $274,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
