The Payments Performance Manager at Casumo is a hybrid role responsible for managing Payment Service Providers (PSPs), optimizing cashier configurations, and improving payment processes across all markets. This involves acting as the primary contact for PSPs, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, onboarding new providers, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role requires overseeing cashier configurations, managing payment routing, and collaborating with various teams (Finance, Product, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Data, and Tech) to maintain a robust payments infrastructure. The position also includes tracking key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to process documentation.

Nowadays, we're on the hunt for a dynamic Payments Performance Manager!

Position Overview:

Payments Performance Manager is a hybrid role, based in one of the Casumo hubs. You will be responsible for managing our Payment Service Providers (PSPs), ensuring optimal cashier configurations, and driving payment process improvements across all our markets. You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer and work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Data and Tech, to maintain a robust payments infrastructure that supports business growth and enhances the player experience.

Responsibilities:

Payment Service Provider (PSP) Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all PSPs, ensuring strong, productive relationships.

  • Work with leadership on contract negotiations, renewals, and performance reviews.

  • Monitor PSP performance, resolve escalations, and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.

  • Identify and onboard new payment providers to expand market coverage and improve player experience.

  • Actioning and coordinating KYC & KYB in collaboration with Finance and Legal.

Payments Operations & Cashier Configuration:

  • Oversee the operational configuration of the Casumo Cashier across all markets.

  • Collaborate with the Product and Tech teams to ensure seamless cashier integrations and updates.

  • Manage payment routing, currencies, and market-specific configurations.

  • Ensure operational readiness for market launches and expansion initiatives.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Work with the compliance team to ensure all payment processes comply with relevant regulatory and legal requirements.

  • Collaborate with the Compliance team on anti-fraud measures, payment security, and KYC processes.

  • Stay ahead of industry changes, regulatory updates, and emerging payment technologies.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

  • Track payment performance metrics such as acceptance rates, transaction costs, and processing times.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.

  • Act as a reference and contribute to the process documentation for Payments Operations



Requirements:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in payments operations and/or PSP management.

  • Strong understanding of online payment systems, PSP integration, and global payment landscapes in regulated markets.

  • Admin level experience working with Payment IQ / payment platforms, cashier systems, and payment routing configurations.

  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.

  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to solving problems.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.

  • Experience in the gaming, fintech, or similarly regulated e-commerce industry.

  • Familiarity with payment analytics and reporting platforms.
