At FuturLab, we believe that our people are the heart of our business. We are looking for a People Partner to join our dynamic People team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for our employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters. You will work closely with the business to develop and implement people initiatives that align with our culture and business goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with employees and managers, acting as a trusted advisor and providing support and guidance on employee relations issues.
  • Coach and mentor managers on performance management, employee development, and other HR-related topics.
  • Support with the recruitment process to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle, including performance reviews, promotions, and offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with the People team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Partner with the managers to identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Monitor and analyse HR metrics to identify trends and provide insights to the business.
  • Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Solid understanding of performance management and employee development processes.
  • Ability to handle employee relations issues with tact and empathy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • CIPD or equivalent qualification is desirable.
  • Passion for the gaming industry is a plus.
