The Performance Media Manager is accountable for spearheading campaign planning and overseeing the management across all digital channels, including paid social, paid search, and programmatic. This role involves overseeing optimizations and campaign insights to drive media planning for clients. Key responsibilities include owning the media campaign process from strategic response to reporting, assisting the wider team with deliverables, and acting as a primary contact for client Product Marketing and Campaign Managers to ensure timely and accurate campaign launches that meet business goals.
Must have:
  • Own the media campaign process from strategic response to reporting results.
  • Assist and oversee Performance Media Executives and/or Coordinators for account deliverables.
  • Be the go-to person for Product Marketing Managers and Campaign Managers at the client organization.
  • Plan how campaign budgets are allocated between channels.
  • Create positive relationships with key media and technology partners (e.g., Google, Meta, Trade Desk, TikTok).
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to Performance Media Directors.
  • Experience overseeing direct report(s), clients, and media campaigns.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital channels including paid search, paid social, and/or programmatic.
  • Proficiency in digital media platforms such as DV360, Google Ads, Meta Ads, The Trade Desk, or TikTok Ads.
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft Office programmes, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Overview

The Performance Media Manager is accountable for spearheading campaign planning and overseeing the management across all digital channels (paid social, paid search, and programmatic). The role will involve overseeing optimisations & campaign insights to drive media planning for the clients.

Your scope will include:

  • Own the media campaign process. From the developing a strategic media response to a brief (bringing your wildest ideas to the table) through to delivering and reporting on results.
  • Assist the wider team and overseeing Performance Media Executives and/or Coordinators to ensure account deliverables including reporting, optimisation tactics, quality-checks, and implementation of top practice approaches to media.
  • Be the go-to person for Product Marketing Managers and Campaign Managers at the client organisation, working closely with them to ensure we deliver accurate and timely campaign launches that deliver on their business goals.
  • Plan how campaign budgets are allocated between channels to align with campaign and business goals.
  • Create a positive relationship with key media and technology partners e.g. Google, Meta, Trade Desk, TikTok.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to Performance Media Directors and into Coordinators/ Executives.

What type of person will be successful in this role:

  • Experience overseeing direct report(s), clients, and media campaigns.
  • Ideally you have worked within an agency environment on high-value clients, however we still invite you to apply if you have exposure to these key experiences from your experience in a client-side or publisher-side organisation.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital channels including paid search, paid social, and/or programmatic. You know at least a couple of digital media platforms such as DV360, Google Ads, Meta Ads, The Trade Desk, or TikTok Ads like the back of your hand.
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft Office programmes, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Bold, comfortable, and professional when communicating with clients and third parties
  • High attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and a strong passion to learn & grow in the performance/digital space
  • Self-assured, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-changing role
  • Your organisational prowess will be the key to assisting our team and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Able to work as part of a larger team and build relationships
  • Team-oriented and keen for others to succeed with you
  • Contribute positively to performance team WIPs and digital forums
