Job Description
Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem, is seeking a QA Engineer for its Pioneer Talent Program, focusing on the Payment & Card team. This full-time role involves gaining hands-on expertise in Web3 through tailored training and mentorship. Responsibilities include developing, testing, and delivering high-quality products, creating comprehensive test plans and cases, preventing and tracking defects, designing and executing automation scripts, performing manual investigations of backend issues, conducting root cause analysis, identifying test script deficiencies, and investigatory testing of unreleased features. The role requires a user-focused mindset, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and excellent team communication.
Must have:
- 2 years+ backend QA engineering experience
- Frontend and backend auto testing experience
- Full cycle testing
- Scripting with Java or Python
- Testing backend services (APIs, Databases)
- Functional and integration testing for web/mobile
- Test automation framework design
- Root cause analysis
- Analytical and trouble-shooting skills
- User Focus mindset
- Good logical thinking
- Seamless team communication

About The Team
The Binance Pay & Card team is revolutionizing the way people transact and manage their finances globally. Binance Pay is a cutting-edge payment solution that enables users to send, receive, and pay with crypto seamlessly. Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members (developers, product manager, customer support and partners) to develop, test and deliver high quality products
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Prevent, collect, analyze and track product defects
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts
- Hands-on manual investigation and reproduction of functional backend software issues
- Root cause analysis of existing test script failures
- Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage
- Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior and impact
- Documentation and design of candidate test scenarios for the above
Requirements
- 2 years+ of backend QA engineering experience, frontend and backend auto testing experience
- Prior knowledge in the payment/funding related domain would be highly advantageous
- Full cycle testing from designing manual tests, developing scripts and execution
- Scripting ability using Java or Python
- Experience testing backend services such as APIs, Databases
- Experience in functional and integration testing for web and mobile applications
- Solid hands-on experience in test automation framework design and development, covering both frontend and backend components
- Proficient in conducting root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues impacting software quality
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills, enjoys breaking things and solving problems - not just able to find out the "what," but also the "why"
- User Focus mindset, demonstrate good logical thinking and seamless team communication skills
