Job Description

This position is primarily responsible to serve as a hands-on technical lead for the Security Access Management (SAM) team and assist management with various strategic and departmental projects. This role leads IAM and PAM projects and recoveries, working closely with the IAM/PAM team and SAM Manager to support security infrastructure and integrate security measures across office automation, management information, voice, data, and LAN systems. The successful candidate will have extensive background in PAM strategy, architecture, and software development/engineering, ensuring appropriate visibility, communication, and governance with key business partners and stakeholders, and coordinating SAM team member activities.
Must have:
  • Act as department lead, coordinating team activities and supporting manager in development of team objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and support improvement programs for IAM processes and procedures.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Manage user identity lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and account updates.
  • Provide technical consultation, lead access governance and re-certification campaigns.
  • Support audit and compliance initiatives by providing documentation and subject-matter expertise.
  • Respond to audit findings and implement remediation measures.
  • Help establish and manage departmental SLAs and prepare regular reports on IAM metrics.
  • Develop and maintain training materials related to identity and access management.
  • Support Manager by ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Serve as escalation point for highly complex customer inquiries and support tickets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field, preferably computer science or related.
  • 8 years of experience in identity and access management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby for automation.
  • Strong experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Entra ID, and REST APIs.
  • Strong familiarity with OAuth, SAML, FIDO2 and other authentication protocols.
  • Strong experience with Windows, Linux and Solaris Operating Systems knowledge.
  • Experience with administration of IGA software with a focus on SailPoint.
  • Experience with administration of PAM software and knowledge of PAM technologies with a focus on BeyondTrust Password Safe.
  • Constant improving mindset and ability to identify repetitive processes and automation opportunities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Security Policies/Practices.
  • Advanced security application knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledge of SOX, SSAE16 SOC audit criteria and process.

Who We're Looking For

This position is primarily responsible to serve as a hands-on technical lead for the Security Access Management (SAM) team and assist management with various strategic and departmental projects. This position leads IAM and PAM projects and recoveries. The role will work closely with IAM/PAM team and SAM Manager to support security infrastructure as well as integrating security measures as it relates to office automation systems, management information systems, voice, data, and Local Area Network systems, as well as PCs, peripherals and associated software/services.

A successful candidate will have an extensive background and experience in PAM strategy, architecture and software development/engineering as well as an ability to ensure appropriate visibility, communication, and governance across key business partners and stakeholders. The roll will help with coordinating SAM team member activities.

Key Responsibilities
