Job Description

This Principal/Lead Strategy and Transformation Consultant role involves leading strategy development and formulation of strategic initiatives, tracking strategy execution, developing decision materials, supporting strategy communication, and helping build the Strategy & Insights team. The consultant will collaborate with executive stakeholders, the Corporate Strategy team, and the Chief Product & Technology Officer to ensure alignment and drive transformational agenda. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills within the software development and investment management industry. The consultant will also be expected to encourage cross-functional collaboration and take end-to-end ownership of tasks.
Must have:
  • +5 years of experience in consulting or strategy/transformation.
  • Strong collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to navigate complexity with clarity and confidence.
  • A growth mindset and self-starter qualities.
  • Business fluent in English.
Good to have:
  • Industry experience in software development and/or investment management

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US

As a global leader in our space, we are on a mission to transform from a traditional enterprise software company into a technology-enabled services business, while sustaining our track record of double-digit highly profitable growth. To further support, enable and drive this journey we recently established a new Strategy & Insights team within the Product Development organization, which we are now expanding.

You will join a new team, Strategy & Insights, and be part of the staff function PD Strategy & Excellence. We are responsible for strategy, portfolio, communication, and ways of working for the 1,500 people large development organization in very close collaboration with our Chief Product & Technology Officer.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Lead strategy development and formulation of strategic initiatives and function’s scorecard in close collaboration with executive stakeholders
  • Track strategy execution and collaborate with the Corporate Strategy team to ensure alignment with company priorities
  • Develop and deliver effective decision materials and workshops to support executive management on transformational agenda
  • Support strategy communication/deployment and enable the organization connecting to our strategy
  • Actively help build the Strategy & Insights team and raise maturity of strategy formulation and execution within the organization
  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration that inspires and aligns diverse perspectives when engaging with stakeholders and facilitating problem-solving sessions and key decisions fora

WHAT WE VALUE

  • +5 years of experience in a top tier consulting and/or internal Strategy/Transformation function
  • Strong collaboration skills with a wide range of stakeholders across organization. Team player with a strong can-do attitude and learning mindset
  • Strong analytical thinking, storytelling, and executive presentation skills
  • The ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity with clarity and confidence
  • A growth mindset and natural self-starter who can work independently by taking end-to-end ownership of tasks
  • Business fluent in English
  • Industry experience in software development and/or investment management is a plus
