Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Principal Software Engineer: Jasper R&D to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Job Description:

• Work daily with software architecture, C++ development and a few scripting languages on the Jasper R&D team, solving real-world programming problems in an innovative, supportive, and collaborative environment.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers, helping the manager to distribute and control the technical tasks, and doing architecture and code reviews

Requirements:

• Complete Bachelors degree in computer science, computer Engineering or related Engineering, Math and Statistic courses; with 4 or more years of experience working in the software industry
• Solid knowledge in software architecture, data structures and algorithms.
• Knowledge of C++ programming language
• Good written and spoken English with strong communication skill

Nice to have:

• Experience with scripting languages – Python, tcl - and unix environment.
• Knowledge of Verilog and VHDL languages.
• Knowledge of hardware verification: simulation and formal verification
