Job Description

The Principal Value Stream Engineer – Front Office is a senior individual contributor responsible for the adoption and scalability of standard Front Office (FO) workflows within SimCorp One Value Stream. This role focuses on accelerating client onboarding and ensuring high-quality outcomes by thinking end-to-end across the value chain, aligning with Scaled Agile principles and DevOps practices. The engineer will apply an engineering mindset to create shippable, versioned assets, partner with various teams, and drive continuous improvement through flow metrics and telemetry.
Must Have:
  • Champion adoption of the Front Office Standard Kit and make it the default across engagements, maximizing reuse over reinvention.
  • Treat Front Office standards as products—versioned, documented, instrumented, and distributed via CI/CD with clear deprecation paths and change notes.
  • Work closely with the SimCorp One Value Stream Architect to estimate Front Office onboarding projects and ensure solution designs are scalable, efficient, and aligned with value stream standards.
  • Contribute Front Office content to demo environments to showcase standard capabilities and accelerate adoption.
  • Design for operations from day one—co-develop runbooks, monitoring/telemetry, SLIs/SLOs, and change/incident models with Client Operations and Service Operations.
  • Establish a single engagement cadence for FO scope; maintain decisions, risks, dependencies, and escalations in the agreed governance forums.
  • Use valuestream flow metrics and VMO dashboards to identify bottlenecks, remove systemic blockers, and codify improvements back into standards.
  • Coach and align teams to Scaled Agile and DevOps principles (lean flow, cadence, synchronization, trunk-based development, automated testing, progressive delivery).
  • Leverage Azure DevOps toolchains and telemetry so standards are built, verified, packaged, and measured consistently across environments.
Perks:
  • Attractive compensation
  • Bonus program
  • Retirement plan
  • Healthy work-life balance
  • Opportunities for professional development
  • Individual approach to professional development
